DIN 1.2311 Plastic Mold Tool Steel | P20
DIN 1.2311 steel is a low alloyed steel with at least 1.8% Cr ,0.15%Mo as per DIN/EN standard.As plastic mold tool steel, it is mostly used in the quenched and tempered condition, with a hardness of 285-320HBW. After quenching and tempering, DIN 1.2311 steel has good toughness,wear resistance and good machinability.
Typical application for DIN 1.2311 steel are:For large injection and compression molds, Blow molds,die holder, backers and Structural components, shafts,etc.
